Kathy Vaughn
Kathy Vaughn has always had an eye for innovative design. At the age of 6, she was making tops out of her father's handkerchiefs. As she grew older, she enrolled in many interior design classes at the college level. She began her interior design business in 1975 and has been thriving ever since.
Kathy attends many conventions and workshops, both at the national and regional level. In July 2007, she attended the Hunter Douglas International Alliance Conference in Denver, CO. She brought back up-to-date information on the latest interior design techniques and products. She has had extensive training and believes in continuous education.
Kathy has done jobs all throughout the state – there is no job too big or too small. Windows, Walls, and Design is an interior design business that services both residential and commercial customers throughout Mid-Missouri. Kathy has her own workroom, located in Columbia, Missouri where she designs and fabricates her own custom fabric products. She takes pride in all the products she provides to her customers. She is a Hunter Douglas Alliance Dealer and also a Ralph Lauren Dealer. Kathy also carries many other designer lines and works closely with Sherwin Williams Company.
Kathy is also very involved within the community. She is a member of the Home Builders Association, the Columbia Board of Realtors, the Woman's Council of Realtors, and a member of the Window Coverings Association of America.
Kathy has a God-given talent for interior design. She prides herself in her work and gets pleasure in seeing her customers satisfied. She provides her services to her customers beginning with the concept, through the installation, as well as service after the sale. Kathy enjoys working closely with her clients on projects – she wants your home design to be a reflection of you!
Bryan Kuhn
Bryan Kuhn is the son of Kathy Vaughn. He began working with Windows, Walls & Design in 1991 and has remained ever since. During his involvement with Windows, Walls & Design,Bryan has acted as business manager and installer, while lending a hand with fabrication, design, advertising and marketing. Bryan has attended several Hunter Douglas education classes including "Quest for Excellence" and "Certified Installer Classes." He is also involved in the Columbia Home Builders Association and their annual home show.
Bryan is a Columbia College graduate and following graduation, he began working with Central Bank/Central Bancompany in their investment department since 1998. Bryan can be found working with their banks from St. Louis to Tulsa, OK, and juggling his family and Windows, Walls, and Design.
